Parting out: 89 Trans Am, 350 tpi, auto, ttops, digital dash

i just got a 1989 Trans Am(not GTA), it has seen better days but there are quite a few good parts left. The car sat about 2-3 years with no ttops on, so the interior is shot, ill have to see about the wiring once i pull it apart, doors seemed solid pass fender good too, bumpers and hood are good as well. hatch is fine and has the foam aero wing with the normal cracked paint. wheels are junk, motor is a 350 tpi with a 700r4 tranny. since its an 89, the tpi does not have the provisions for the cold start injector but does have a MAF sensor. I will be taking the throttle body plenum and possibly runners, but the rest of the tpi parts(fuel rail, lower manifold, distributor, harness, ecm, etc) are available. I havent decided if i'll part with the longblock yet. serpentine belt drive is available. rear axle is a 10 bolt drum brakes, ill find out gear size and if its a posi or not.

The car is complete enough in my opinion that i would put another interior in it and throw a set of ttops on it and drive it, but there is no paperwork on the car, so its getting cut up. it seems to be a rare car with the ttops 350tpi and digital dash, but oh well, all cars gotta go to the big junkyard in the sky.

I'll post more info in about a week along with proces once i start tearing into it. I first have to strip apart my 88 Monte andmy 94 v6 camaro.

My friend Dave might be interested in the trans. Email him at shara100@aol.com , he may also be looking for some other parts too.

Koll, look on TGO. Theres a ****load of ppl that had a MAF system converted to a SD. If ur motors out of an 89, maybe the ECM + wiring wasnt swapped over? JM2C.

i have an 86 Firebird with an 89 TPI motor in it... i could part with it PM me with an offer. has UMI Subframe connectors (not installed), B&M mega shifter (shifts the car but wiring isnt hooked up yet, shift kit (not installed) long tubes (installed) and an Accel Super ram Lower Intake manifold (installed) currently not running well probably because of the hack job on the wiring harness that someone did before i got it.
