88 Monte SS, ready to go to the junkyard tomorrow...

here is the 88 Monte SS as it was when i bought it...

and here is how its sits now...

I got off everything I wanted from it, so now it can go to the junkyard tomorrow and make room for my 94 z28 which is getting dropped off then. Oh and yeah the old exhaust wouldnt fit in the car, so i bent the back seats to get it in, lol.

lol yeah probably, but the car has serious rot issues, most of the pass. b pillar had been cut out and replaced(and bondoed) and the rear 1/4s are almost all bondo, rear floors are gone, a pillars and winsheild frame are rotten. it was a real POS.

the rearend(stock posi 3:73) will be getting cleaned up and going in my 87
Im also using the dash bezels and front and rear spoilers on my 87 as well.
parts like the heater a/c box will be getting cleaned up and will be going into the new body i am prepping for my 87, in the summer im doing a full body swap due to rust concerns on my 87, they were fixed all but i am not happy with repairs or the paint currently on the 87 so its all getting redone.

Once i get a scanner, ill post some nice pics of when i stripped an 86 iroc. those include pics of the car on its side and upside down in my driveway.

Good work Paul! G-bodies are fun and easy to strip. Don't forget to pull that front swaybar and the other frame bars that are down there, they're worth some $$ too.

Not me.

That was my first SS, met her fate due to terminal rot. Front floor looked like the Flintstone-mobile, rear quarters were shot, doors were shot, body/frame mounts were rotted too.

It's aight Alex. It's not really my thing either, but it's basically mint and came with the car. Someday I'd like to change it to saddle with leather GTA seats, but for now this'll do.

Honestly Steve I am in shock that a tow truck can fit width-wise on your street lol

Paul, that's the rear that was by your SS I'm guessing? And that monte body served well to hold that piece of exhaust this cat was on (thanks again!)
