Check out my v6 camaro!

I started to "Winter-ize" my car since its getting colder out, and the tires on the black wheels are summer only. God I hate the stock wheels... Heres some other random pictures from today:

Now only if Barb would put on his salad shooters... he could match Kasey & I.

Snow tires? Why? I drove my supercharged 93 Z28 Indy Pace Car through 5 winters with no snow tires. If it snows a lot, you simply don't go to work because you can't make it. My boss used to pick me up if he wanted me at work. But the roads are only bad for the day of the initial snow and if it's that bad nobody is allowed on the roads anyway. I even drove my car on snowy roads with 315's on the back! The 454SS was much worse than the Z28 in the snow.

Im just curious what brand tires you had back then? These arent dedicated snow tires, their Bridgestone Potenza All Season's, nothing special but they beat summer only tires anyday.

no matter what you say, no one will come look at your car. i will take out space in your local paper to tell people to boycott your driveway. i'll call the carfax people and tell them there's a bunch of things wrong with the car and that it has a salvage title.

you won't be able to sell it.

No special tires. But like I said, if there's any amount of snow on the roads, there's no reason to be out driving even if you have 4WD. How many snow storms do we get that are more than 4" of snow? Maybe 3 or 4 a year. I would wait until noon and go in for a half day if the roads were cleared enough. When we get 12"+ of snow, usually most businesses shut down and they probably declare a snow emergency in which you shouldn't be on the road anyway. If you're an EMT and have no choice then you should be driving a 4WD vehicle for bad weather. I couldn't get moving any faster than 15 mph with the supercharger on the Z28 in snow. I drove 3 times in any decent amount of snow and that was it. I would leave work as soon as it started to stick on the ground.

I want to get a WHOLE FLEET of NEONS for the winter!

Every day I'll crash one or two of them in a flat out AWESOME manner! Maybe 3 or 4 in a day if I'm feeling real good!

studded tires, lol. i bought an 84 monte over a year ago and drove it during the summer a year ago, that car had studded tires in the rear when i got it and i kept them on, it was great sparky burnouts and boy did it make a weird sound driving down the road at like 40mph, haha, but after like a week i decided to strip the car, i still got the tires in my backyard, except now they have about 1/2 the original amount of studs due to the burnouts, Hehe

but speaking of winter wheels, i gotta get tires for stock tahoe wheels so i can take my Giovannas off the denali, and i need to buy 38" mudders for the bronco. the z28 and monte are keeping same tires year round.

ahh, like the cops use. I was thinking of getting a pair for the T-bird, but screw it. My dad now bought a 93 4x4 chevy Z71 pickup, so if I need to, i'll use that. He has his malibu from work which is FWD, he'll be fine.
