I wanna get new rims for my 94 Z28. I want 18s and i want them wide if not wider then stock. Any suggestions, and what is the stock width?

i assume you had 16's? so 8'' wide right?

I'm not all up on the latest 18'' rims but I know the Eagle 077's came 18x8

I think the newest vette wheels come in an 18x8.5 or 9 Im not too sure. My suggestion is to stick to 17inch wheels. The tires are a whole lot cheaper then for 18's plus theirs alot more wheels available without going into DUB territory... I was looking to go with 18's in the rear but one 315/?/18 tire was $300. I payed less then $200 for two rear 315 tires on 17x11's.

My suggestion is go with a set of corvette wheels if your dead set on a set of 18's. Also your probably going to want to lower it because the car will look like a monster truck.

fwiw after just a few months of driving on trenton roads witht he 18's that were on my gtp one of them developed a crack. Along with the $ for tires I would say just stick with a nice set of 17's, they fill the wheel wells nicely.

If you want wide, go with Torq Thurst II's ... if you want looks, get Eagle 077's

Time to shut this thread down folks...

My favorite F-body wheels:
FM-5's
ZR-1's
Weld Pro-Stars (Slicks & Skinnies)
98+ SS Wheels (Anniversery black & painted)
Tourqe Thrust II's
Plain Z06's (not the motorsport kind)

TT2!! lol!
On ebay you can get 2 wide (rears) ones for a 4th gen for $600. I was going to get the wide tt2's but Im happy i didnt because my 16x8 wheels are pushing it and in the front they rub wich i need to have fixed.
