I only know you need to get licensed. And you have to work weekends and evenings. Good luck.

Real Estate isn't a job, its a lifestyle. To be truly successful at it, you have to work insane hours at sometimes, insane times. Most people trying to buy a house, have career jobs. So the only times they have to look for homes is weekends and evenings - late into the evening.
Definately have to be licensed. I understand it isn't too hard, but its also not something you cram for, the night before.
Real Estate agents can make good money. And it isn't too bad being married and working those times / hours because its up to you to decide when you are available. But like I said, wanna make the money, gotta do the time.

my mother is a real estate agent. the field has been killed by the low commision services like foxton and such. its quite time consuming and can become bad at times when you cant sell enough houses to support a family. i think its a good side job, but difficult (not impossible) to make a well paying career.

Honestly, i would like too but this area doesnt really allow it, in the finacial sense i mean, i'd need a much larger space to work out of with less zoning laws, and that costs a ton of money here in north jersey. i could look right over the border in NY or south jersey but i dont know. but trust me it is on my mind a great deal, to basically specialize in 82-02 f bodies.
