Body and paint look good but the motor looks a little old and weathered.

seems like all the work and time was into external appearence, and not much into underhood looks, maybe he hurried to get the drivetrain in and picked whatever he could find...i dunno, but its still a nice car

a '69 350 horse 396 is not something you just pick up... but it is true to form about the older hot rodding guys. they would grab a 396 and throw it in an '80 camaro. and the 402s, 454s, poncho 455s... back then, before the science of heads was truly understood, making big power meant big cubic inches.
for me, and the reason why i am glad i don't have any money right now, that car screams nostalgia. it's just like what would've been done when i was younger.

That is Bruce Sherman's car from nastyz28.com
I thought I saw other pics that were more flattering. I would put rear springs & correct shackles in it ASAP (that is just a pet peeve of mine, shackles and/or air shocks). And clean up them gauges. But still looks like a soild driver that can be great with some elbow grease.
