New guy joins ranks
Hey everyone, I'm new here. I have had three Pontiacs over the last 25 years.
My first was a 67 Bonnevlle, second was a 67 Catalina and my third was a 70 Grand Prix. I was always into Pontiac's. Well, I've been out of the hobby for many years but am looking to get back in soon (in the next year or so).
I have always loved the 69 Firebird. What would be the best places to learn all I can on this great car before I start looking for that perfect Firebird?

Welcome to the site!
I'm not very knowledgeable with old school tin indians, but I'm sure someone here can point you in the right direction.

I really wished I kept the 67 Bonneville. Had a 400 in it. It was my first car, bought it from my uncle for (get this) $100 bucks. It was sitting in his yard. I got it running and drove it for about two years then the engine blew after a timing chain was replaced by the local repair shop (I was to young and dumb) to challenge them about the engine going right after they worked on it. To make matters worst, I tore half the engine apart just to play around, then I got rid of it to the local junkyard company. I had to pay them $25 to tow it away. If I only knew what a great car it could have been. Just the parts alone. Who knew? Young and foolish.
I also almost bought a 69 GTO during that same time period but went with the GrandPrix instead (luxury over power I guess, got it for $2000, the GTO was less. This was around the late seventies). Another move I now regret.
So as you can see I have alot of bad mistakes to make up for. So I will be taking my time and learning about the Firebirds before I buy. I now drive a 99 XK8 Jaguar, more of a weekend car then anything else (which is currently for sale).
