weird SES light

um..so after driving my car for a brief period of time the SES light comes on, then if i turn it off and then turn it back on it goes away. so far it has happen 3 days in a row any ideas what can cause such thing. i tryed going to autozone to have them check it out but it didnt come on on the way there. wtf

The car should be storing the code so they can still scan it for you. If you were closer I could scan it for you with my Palm handheld. Might be something like an O2 sensor that doesn't kick on until it has been running for a while.
