My wife raced for the first time today @ Atco
Here are her comments from today..
Gas for racing..................$10
Entrance fee to Atco.........$14
Getting a bigger trophy than Bandit got yesterday....PRICELESS!!!!!
Had a BLAST at the track. Not a bad day for my first time out. I finished 3rd in a field of 12 women; myself and one other lady were the only 2 with zero racing experience. Once I got the jitters out I was fine. I was so nervous my first run that by the time I looked up at the tree it had already turned green!!! That was my worst R/T with a 1.27!!! oops! My best R/T was a .023 . I lost in the semis because I broke out by .003!!! Mike dialed me in at 12.85 and I ran 12.847!!!!!
But all in all, I was happy with my day! I don't think I embarrased Bandit too much!!! Now he has to fight me for racing rights!!!!
Kim did great for her first time @ the track. She tied me for my best time ever 12.73 @ almost 110mph (see time slip ). On a cool fall night I know for sure she will run faster then me.

I went for the Fbody vs Mustang shoot out and boy did the stangs whoop the fbodies. I was the last fbody left and I broke out in the semi's.
Remind me never to run @ etown during the pm session again.. The weather changed so much from 5:30 -7pm that I could not dial the car in and it hooked(a first for me @ etown in 4 years..lol) and ran so much better.
