what do you guys think?

Well I think I know away around some things and I will be looking to pick up a new project car. eventually the car will be a daily driver. im just doing plans and would like to here what you guys have to say about color choices and things,

first off the car would be a 90-92 Trans am with ground effects
eventually painted quasar blue
z06 gunmetal wheels

ls1
t56
ported ls1 heads
long tubes
legal exhuast using corsa c5 catback( i think true duals)
better intake
k&n fuel injection performance kit
tune
4th gen rear (verry eficient gears)
lowering springs
and lots of other suspension mods

How much would i be looking to pay a year in insurance?
would the project be cheaper then just getting a 4.5 gen? factor in insurance too.

matt

Matt, that is gonna be way too expensive. You'll run out of money less than halfway into it. And a C5 exhaust will not work on a third gen. A C5 exhaust will only work on a C5.

Why dont you do the logical thing. build up a mild 350 for your bird and get a beater.

cant, im not allowed to... "if its not broke dont fix it" comes into play right now. right now I theirs no doubt in my mind that I wont have a 11 sec. car by the time i get my liscence, my problem comes into play of not wanting a beater, but wanting a fast and fuel efficient car, that i can daily drive and not get rapped with insurance.

umm, you have yet another overly elaborate plan to upgrade your car, yet you say if it ain't broke, don't fix it? WTF are you talking about then?
your car needs mild work, do that first. then worry about upgrading.
