1984 Firebird w/ 89 Formula parts car
Start of with the parts car
1989 Firebird Formula, Red, silver bottom, medium Gray interior, 305 TBI, 700R4 210,000 miles, T-top. Has Power windows, door locks and hatch release, everything was in working order. Ran like a champ until the fuel pump died. It is in pretty good condition but I have taken alot of the parts off it for use on the 84. Most of the removeable sheetmetal is good with little or no rust but the floors are shot and there are some rot holes around the inside of the body. It still has most of the interior parts. Back seats are good but dirty. Has brand new fuel injectors and connectors, T/B spacer, rebuilt injector pod. Most of the dash has been sold off or used, console is in the 84 now. Also has an entire brand new Moog front end rebuild kit on it with Spoh Billet Tie rod adjusters, poly control arm bushings and a brand new set of WS6 springs that can be moved to the 84 is bought together. Brand new HEI distributor and module. MSD cap, rotor, blaster coil, wires, NGK plugs all with less then 1000 miles on them. 160 degree T-stat, new radiator hoses, hot chip and stock chip included. More info and pics upon request.
1984 Firebird S/E
Red, charcoal interior, 305 LG4, 4 Bbl, 700R4, 122,000 miles, T-Top. Has power nothing in it, car weighs 2900LBS. Has A/C, couldn't find any leaks but it needs a re-charge, I can do this if need be for the buyer. On the title for some reason it lists as a V6 but the Vin shows it with the "H" motor (LG4) so it is an error on the title. Good compression, runs great, shifts OK. Full dash with gauges (no idiot lights) still on original motor and trans, has some leaks but nothing earth shattering for an 84. Body is rust free, floor are solid, all panels are good except for the passenger fender has a dent that needs to be banged out and the grille inserts are missing. Paint Job is so-so, it is a re-paint that wasn't done by a pro. Interioir is pretty good, carpet is rough but the seats are all in decent shape with some minor seperation on the driver seat. Headliner was removed because the T-tops leak a little due to needing hinge pins and possibly T-top weatherstrips. They aren't torn but are pretty old. Also the rear interior panel is missing. My plan was to move over the body panels from the Formula (nose, hood, fenders, bumper etc) since they are the same color (just like the 89 look better) but I am trying to get a house so I have decided to sell it off instead. The interior panels from the formula are near mint and nicely cleaned up and ready for a swap out if desired. Tires are still in good shape and brakes work well but need to be bled. Pics available on request.
