2006 8/25-27th GTOAA regional meet?
This show is obviously going to be mainly Goats, however, they have sections for pretty much all Pontiacs and of course, F-Bods.
Anyone going? I may book a room Sat. night just so I can have a 'good' time and not worry about driving the 10 miles home.

Yes, I registered my Firehawk. I've gone to the show the last couple of years and it's always a good show. Also, Jim Wangers is going to be there this year for his 80th birthday.

Educate my rear end on Wagner....sorry, but I'd like to know his history.

Wangers was a former racecar driver and an automotive marketing genius. He was pretty much responsible for building Pontiac's image in the 60s along with DeLorean (e.g. Wide-Track) and played a big roll in the development of the GTO. If you're a Pontiac guy, he's a legend.

I want him to sign my car, too! I know there's going to be a dinner afterwards that the club is throwing to honor him. I'm not sure if you have to attend the dinner to meet him, but I would think he'd be checking out the cars, the guy's life is Pontiac.
