Very epic in scale and theme.
Even though we know the outcome of the Spartans, the writers did a great job of capturing the comic's "Death before Dishonor" theme, and made it into an epic tale of bravery and defiance.
Movies that sensationalize history have often gotten bad raps from the academic community, even if the movie gets great reviews.

You're lucky. The Imax at The Trop ain't showing it. I guess I'll just save some money and watch it at a regular movie theater on Saturday afternoon. I heard the movie lived up to the hype. Completely.

Pick a theater either down in the Hamilton area of the New Brunswich area and I'm in for tonight!
