2008 Toy..err..Subie Impreza

http://thecarblogger.blogspot.com/20...u-impreza.html

Looks like a Corolla. Congrats Subie, your new parent company, Toyota, has just made your car line up look like total turds.
Good job on GM's part to drop them.

Yeah...to bad it will still handle like total crap.
I dont understand how Ford has the testicular fortitude to charge another 20k for what amounts to be a larger engine and 6spd manual. Everything else, but the front brakes, are STOCK GT equipment for the most part.

from what i read, the 500KR has a greater gear ratio (3.73? i forget) a "race inspired" suspension, shorter shifter and a few other things that the gt500 doesnt have. but im right with you its definately not worth 50-60 grand

as for the mustang, the whole GT500 thing has dispointed me because the saleen and roush cars just look so much meaner and came out first!...

There is a white with blue stripes Roush stage 1 that someone at work just bought. I'm not a mustang guy, but it looks pretty sharp.

Been going steadily downhill since the 98-01 body style. I adored my 2000 2.5RS (still in the family BTW). Car had phenomenal handling once I upgraded the struts and was about as perfectly balanced a car I had ever known. Looked pretty mean for alittle guy too.

subaru has never been known for their styling, but this is definately the biggest step backwards ever. hopefully they won't mess with development or production of the driveline the way they did the styling. those little boxer motors go forever and are very easy to work on.
my bro has a WRX(i forget what year) that rides great and knocks down 25+mpg at 85+mph.
