detailed: frc and jeep

Heres 2 cars i detailed last week i gotta go back and get some more pics of the vette as my battery was dieing and some didnt come out well but you get the point....it has general bolt ons and borla stinger exhaust which sounded great... it was polished with metabo rotary and menzerna powergloss compund then the pc and menzerna fp2 and finished with souveran paste (what i used on my car look at the jeep and u can see the difference but pictures dont show the "glow and depth" like in person)

Jeep is a guy i work with its a 07 with a 4 inch lift and 35's... and for the record thier quality control sucks ass it was the worst new car paint ive ever seen.... dust and other crap embedded in the clear coat overspray in the door jambs and a few flaws in the paint itself...not to mention insane orange peel on every jeep ive seen nice quality control mopar it was polished and sealed with xmt 360 and the pc (rotary and menzerna intense polish on problem areas) then finished with souveran liquid... it had zaino on it before i detailed it and liquid souveran has a finish similar to it but much easier to use and more wet looking while zaino is extremely reflective but not deep or wet looking

i have 6 more cars/trucks lined up over the next couple weeks between my real job including an aston martin so i should have plenty of pics anyway here ya go...

those white spots are in the clearcoat not just on it dunno wtf it is

after rotary and compund

2nd wash after polish foam gun ftmfw

well what can i say man... the jeep was hot i just couldnt help myself

and gto guy.... to get into it with the polisher polishes all other tools pads ect your looking at somewhere between 400-600 ive got somewhere over 1500 worth of supplies.... detailing the cars paid for that plus some but i only do a couple cars a week and i took a break from it last year except for the few customers ive been doing for years

and ubg i could do the stickers/paint on the amx but id have to do everything by hand as the machine polish will put scratches in the stickers (look at it like extremely fine grit sand paper the stuff i used on the jeep was equivilent to about 2000-2500 grit paper)

that looks amazing! Nice work and you're not kidding about the cost; a good polisher will run you at least $200. I just bought a makita polisher, should have it next week. The detail guys at the body shop I work at love them.

Nice. Hopefully I'm going to be doing some touch up body work n' changes to my paint scheme later in the summer, and when I get it all tied up I'll see about having you put the icing on the cake!
