F.S. - 1998 Mazda Protege, Cheaper Daily Driver - SOLD

I'm putting up for sale my 1998 Mazda Protege. It has a 1.5L 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission. The car has 122,XXX miles on it. The car was bought brand new by my father in 1998 he drove the car everyday to work and back then passed the car down to my sister for school and then down to me for school also. However I recently just purchased another car so I no longer have a use for it. The car runs great and gets great gas mileage. Oil was changed every 3,000 miles on the car and was just done 1,000 miles ago. Tires have lots of life left. The car also has a poineer head unit, other than that it is bone stock. I even have all the records for all the maintaince and everything that was done this this car, what can I say my mother saved everything lol.

I have a 97 auto with the 1.5. For those interested in a great little daily driver...this car fits the bill. I've owned mine since it had 86K (now 105K) and no issues what so ever except me somehow bending the wheels lol. Good luck with the sale.

Yea man I love the car, it has never given me any trouble either. I would love to keep it cause the gas mileage with it is great 25 bucks fills the tank and lasts me for the longest time. Put it this way, this car somehow managed to get me to seaside and back on about 5 dollars worth of gas, thats when I fell in love with it lol but I just can't afford to have three cars.

I hear ya and I do love cars like this. Park it anywhere, regular gas, great mileage and reliable. Plus it makes me really appreciate the bird when I do take it out. Good luck once again.
