hatch motor problems, need help fast!

anyone know of a manual way to close the hatch when the motor ***** the bunk? the hatch latches, just wont pull down.

I think there is a way to unbolt part of the motor and move it down so that the hatch seals - I don't remember how though. A search on TGO might give you the results if no one here knows......
