New Edelbrock LT1 Headers!

I came across a thread on LS1tech where someone mentioned Edelbrock is developing a new set of Long tube "Race" headers for LT1 & LS1 cars and I found some part numbers as I was searching the website and some similar LS1 headers just so you guys get an idea.

I'm probably going to purchase the stainless ones to replace my cheapo pacesetters!

Quote:
1993-97 Camaro/Firebird with 5.7L LT1, slip-on merge collector (1-3/4", stepped to 1-7/8", 3-1/2" collector, mild steel) - #65903

1993-97 Camaro/Firebird with 5.7L LT1, slip-on merge collector (1-3/4", stepped to 1-7/8", 3-1/2" collector, same as #65903, but in 304 stainless steel)
- #65901

(ls1 version shown)

Only problem is I can't find any prices on Summit or Jeggs or anything about availability. Has anyone else heard anything about these headers?

You know these aren't flanged, right?

Summit and Jeg's part numbers are done as follows:

"Vendor code" - "Manufacturer's Part Number"

So those headers are EDL-6550 in Summit. Even if you can't find a part in the catalog, all you need to do is get the vendor code from another product and tack the manufacturer's part number on the end of it.

Alex, the ones in the picture you posted look like BB Dragster headers, not LS1 headers (as the summit part number shows).

I only meant cheapo price wise. Yeah they are good for what they do! I have the uncoated ones on my car and no complaints. But a stepped stainless header would be really nice.
