"Hi,

My name is Wendy. Michele gave us permission to send out requests for this hoping you will add us. We are just in the beginning stages of this and are hoping it takes off. The idea is to help support the troops by looking after their families.

I am an ex military wife and military brat. I know all to well what it is like just having a husband in the military let alone one who is deployed! I don't think people realize the sacrifice the families make. They're heroes in our book!

We want to start out small, if you can say small with as many men and women we have in the service. We want to start sending cards or letters to families as a way of saying thank you. This would be for every occasion. We are counting on people like yourself to help get the word out and maybe even help out.

Like I said this is a work in progress. We will be adding more to this page and we are working on a web site right now. But the most important thing is getting the word out! If all you do is accept our request and re-post the bulletin that follows, that will be a huge hand up to our cause! Always, if you are willing to help out in anyway please let us know. It may be sometime before we call on you but we appreciate any help we can get
