Fuddruckers Lockdown

I was at Fuddruckers last night and went in for dinner. They had papers posted that said they will be closing the parking lot a 10pm. Any cars on the lot after that will be considered loitering and will be handled accordingly. Another cruise spot slowly coming to an end.

this is what happens when people act up and everyone jsut stands back and watches instead of stopping them. the spot gets ruined and the cops get involved.

It's because of the ricers....Fudds is a great place to meet untill it gets dark ,then the asshats come out. Wall Mart has been trying to get the show shut down, because people at the show are taking up parking spaces that SprawlMart customers could occupy. I know it's difficult, but we need to go out and school these bitches@ how to act in public. Get Rick James on their a$$es if you have to.

the best thing you can really do as an individual enthusiast to protect the spots you like to hang out is be involved with management and the police in the first place. if people come up and act like fools, walk up to them and tell them they need to stop before they ruin the fun for everyone. if they don't stop, then get management and the police involved.
if they know who the good guys are they will only seek to eliminate the bad guys from the situation. make it clear that you are on the fun, safe, hanging with friends and not causing a scene side and they will be cool with you.

the issue is the ricers and *****. it is the burnouts they do that is probably causing the most trouble if not the whole reason. I can't tell you how many time i have seen inexperienced drivers doin burn out WITH cars coming the OTHER WAY!!! i have seen multiple vehicles alomst slammed into, some with kids inside. I have also seen douschbags drag up to the stop sign and slam on their brakes and have seen multiples cars almost slam in to them b/c they didn't kno they were there. Not to mention ppl who went sideways on a burn out and almost hit ppl. It is olny a matter of time before someone gets hurt b/c these idiots in there car that mommy bought them don't kno how to drive (and i don't just mean how to handle the car, i mean what you should and shouldn't do depending on the area ur in). It is a ******** public place with 100's of ppl. The cops have been there everytime i have and have sent us all home so many time i haven't even been there in a while b/c it isn't worth the drive for me anymore. What do u think will happen? Fuds is responsible for WHAT EVER HAPPENS ON THEIR PROPERITY, you can't blame them.

first it was Forman Mills that went bye-bye and now Fuds. Were're running out of places.

If everyone would go and just hang out it probably wouldn't be an issue. It's when everyone gets stupid, (ie. burnouts, alcohol, loud music, dancing on top of vehicles) that it becomes an issue. Also need to hang out in a less populated area. Patronizing the place your hanging out at would be a big plus too. Imagine if everyone hanging out a Fuddruckers actually went in and had a meal? They would love it, hard to turn down the almighty dollar. I think what you will see is enforcment over the winter. As it gets colder people stop hanging out. Once that happens they just won't let it start back up again when it gets warm.

What needs to happen is you need to go somewhere were alot of people are not going to be inclined o to fine for ex. off a main strip or something where just people that know how to act and are invited would know about it. The next thing that needs to happen is that you need to get permission from the business owner to use his parking lot during/after hours. We did this years ago in hackettstown after being kicked out of dunkin donuts every night we went to the lowes/wendy's parking lot well we all know lowes closes at 10pm and they have a HUGE lot also wendy's dining room is not open after 10 pm. We talked to the managers at wendy's and lowes they said it was fine as long as we cleaned up the garbage and were not causing problems. You always have the asshats that don't clean up there garbage and leave all there crap in the parking lot cause there to damn lazy to walk over to the garbage 10 feet away so me and a few friends always used to clean up at night. The police came and tried to kick us out, at that point we pretty much laughed at them cause we had the upper hand on the situation. There was nothing they could write tickets for since we were not loitering, we were not making noise and being annoying to anyone, but everyone that hung out there knew to leave easy not ripping on there cars or doing burnouts and we kept that spot for years. Just my take on the hole thing.

Have a chat with your store manager. Or set up a meeting with the admins here. Maybe we can make it a monthly NJFBOA event next summer?

We'd probably be better off trying to find a location that is not owned by a huge chain. They'd be more likely to be open to supporting local car culture. Anyone work at a mom-n-pop place with a big parking lot?

When dealing with rice and the stupid "kids" that drive them the Mustang owners are our allies until the end.
