This is the beginning of the bad wheelie.. car hit the bumper and came down hard.. Headers, oil pna, starter, exhaust, front struts, and I was messed up a little too. Shame, I qualified third and this happened in first round..

atco will do that too you in the fall - 400 feet below sea level and they do a real nice job on the track always -- its the fastest track in the country for #s in the fall -- we had one of the cars actually bend the nose part of the frame up and out, a 1/4 inch some years back doing just that - the car had stopped repeating lazer alignment machine found it, - jz

once the car is back together it is going back to the rack and if everything is ok it will be re-aligned.

on that run it kissed the bumper. First round it hit it and unloaded the tires which slammed the car back down and back up into another wheelstand.. If you were wondering, I DONT LIFT.

I remember when George Baxter did that with his 97 30th SS conv and blew out the right front tire and went straight at the wall! He also destroyed his headers and oil pan. Good thing your tires held up. And clean that undercarriage if we're gonna be looking at it!

Welcome to the club Josh. I'm still finding stuff I wrecked this season. The marks on the rear bumper make it all worth while though.

Josh you had the car hooking hard to on that day. It was good to meet you there. I was in the camaro in front of you doing the same thing. That is when Mark asked you if you were going to stand it up like I did. Yup you did the same thing. I was number 7 in qualifying and ended up with top mph in qualifying at 140.42mph. That car was working. Don't feel bad I smacked another oil pan up and hit the bellhousing also. Field was tight with all those cars running a 10.0 something in the front half.

I went to raceway park on last wed. and know one could hook. Everyone spun their tires real bad on their launch some even spun way down the track.Maybe I'll try atco next time.
