Exhaust vid of the V6

Ok many people have been waiting for this. Me and 2 other friends put this vid together in a few hours. I will let vid do the explaing about the car. Vid was taking with a digital camera and came out amazing dont think there could have been much more of an improvement with a vid camera. Thanks goes out to redneckpimpin351 and a friend gary. Car has 107,000 miles in vid, is a 1992 Firebird V6 with a 1991 formula hood and 1991 formula front bumper. swapped out the stock taillights for the grid taillights.

no, he can get mine first!

I don't think the stripes look all that bad. Like I said before, I had the same look on my old 91.

It is functional in a way. it lets out hot air out the top of the hood. its really suppose to be there to use an intake on a 5.7L that would suck cool air coming over the hood

Hes in the middle of moving so give him a month and it should be set up.

And i rather not have a 305 my goal is to drop an LS1 with a t-56k trans, and gmmg exhaust. but dont expect that for a few years.

sounds like my 3.4 only less lump idle(3.4 came from the factory with a more agressive cam) a little less rumble. But not bad at all really. throw in a set of 18lb injectors and she'll really pick up some low db.

I put a 2.5in Flowmaster 80series and custom bent pipe on it along with a CAI and 19lb/hr injectors, then adjusted the TB to slow up the idle a bit, And put a piece of hard tube inside the vacuum line to restrict the air flow at the FPR. So she idled at about 700rpm and she had a bit of lump to it. thats why I told him to upgrade his injectors.

yea but that also is more then likely the source of your bent rod problem, oyu were throwing in too much fuel, in a high mileage engine beating on it like it was stolen. dont do the injectors, leave as is personally my opinion

nah....blew the head gasket...i could see on the head a rust channel from the water leaking into the cylinder. But that didn't happen till some dumba$$ at the gas station filled it with regular not the premium i asked for
