My $6.38 Reflector

Went out today to a camera shop pondering buying a $60 3-1 32" Reflector (Gold, Silver, White) mostly looking for information and what the colors do and there effects. We'll I decided to pass on the reflector and I went to my local Pearl Art Supply. There I found reflective 20x30 sheets of Silver & Gold, and a sheet of press board. I went home, used a spray on adhesive I had laying around and attached the two sheets onto each side of the press board to create a stiff piece that I can carry around. Heres the end results...

Silver Side:

Gold Side:

Thickness:

Engine Bay w/o reflector

Engine bay w/ Silver Reflector

Engine bay w/ Gold Reflector

Why I need more then one:

(focus is on the rear wheel)

I'm going to be making 2 more reflectors with supports and hope that its sunny this weekend so I can get out mid day, and use a clean car.

The gold reflector adds a little more color into the shot, but both are a nice improvement. Wheels came up really good. I was thinking of using one of those 1,000,000 watt portable spot lites at night and shining that on a car from a distance to see what kind of effect that might show up.
