what do you think?

How do you think my car would look if painted it black with the orange stripes, like the ones on the 69 Z-28. would it be expensive?

that depends on what you feel is expensive. a good paint job will cost a few thousand dollars, and then it depends on what kind of orange you want, etc.. you also don't want to cheap out on it, and then you spent your money for nothing when it starts to look like crap.

dont got macco(ask wayfast) but prep work is 95% of what makes the paint job, the last 5% is the spraying and finishing touches.

edit: also to do it right, u gotta do the engine bay, door james and hatch area as that is painted the body color also.

IMO Z28 stripes look out of place on a Firebird.

I wanted to get mine painted a different color but the whole haing to do the engine bay/door jams and what not is getting in my way because no bodyshop around here will do it.So it looks like it will have to be painted red again and maybe some nice little stripes or something.
