New Camaro Pics - No Camo!

They pulled into an office complex to turn around, I decided to follow, and in the process got the horn/middle finger combo from the guy behind me. I had to talk my way past the security guard to get in, but it seemed to work. The drivers allowed me to take pictures as long as I didn’t take any of the interior. They also would not talk about the motor, but said I will not be disappointed.

The car has a very aggressive look to it, and it was rolling on 20 inch rollers.(275 rear 245 front) The brakes looked a dwarfed behind the wheels. I don’t know if that was because of a smaller wheel on the v6 or if big brakes are an upgrade.

My memory card got full when taking the front nose pic. It had the z06 scoop on the hood. Use your imagination on this one.

The engineers told me they had shipped the car down here from Detroit to test it out in the humid weather we have here. The passenger had a laptop with some type of monitoring software.

I wanted to talk to them more about the car, but the security guard was yelling at me for blocking traffic. He seemed pretty upset for a guy making $9 an hour.

The car sounded good as they throttled it out of the parking lot!

The hitch is for hauling testing equipment behind the car. All preproduction cars have it.
These are great shots, and I am still very happy. Cant wait to own one.

I really like the rear view of it, but the front looks massive and stubby if that makes any sense. It looks a little to short like they squeezed the front & rear together to make it fit.

Still have to see it in person. But these look like the best shots yet. Rims look good, but like the guy said the brakes look small unless its an illusion from the size of the rims. Don't like the reverse lights in the middle of the rear even though they are tiny. Think its all gonna come down to the first impression when you walk up to it and around it, the test drive, and the price.

As has been said in just about every thread on every board with pictures that show the pre-production car's headlights.....they are junky parts-store pieces tossed in there to provide light. They will most likely not reveal the production headlights until much closer to public release.

Testing air flow through grill, another part of the testing equipment. like the things in the rear bumper.

And yes...the headlights are cobbled together from stuff they got at Autozone. Every preproduction car have these headlights, just there so they can drive it at night legally.

I can't wait to see how long it takes for the aftermarket to come out with a hide-a-way grill conversion.

Ok starting to like it better. Still not crazy for the interior shots I've seen, but the exterior ones make it look more like the concept which I liked.

Future model years should have functional brake vents in the rear quarters.
