torn between choices...
Well since i have money and looking for a new method of transpertation im torn between options here..
For a while i've wanted a motorcycle in the worst way and with the increase in gas it would be great to have over the summer and use like a grand to buy a beater/DD
On the other hand i love going out nights with my buds to chill with the kids with the nice cars and i would love to own a Z28 or a WS6 but once again the whole gas thing...
Car is safer and i guess since im only 20 years old the insurance on a bike isnt going to be that great.. so if i could afford that insurance i could probably afford the gas on a V8
Im not sure... like i said im torn.. some insight suggestions or comments would be cool
thanks.

I'm going to be in the same boat in 3 months, I'm planning on getting a bike since I will have 1 fast car at that time.

You dont need to buy a V8 if your such a stickler about the gas. do what I did, and get a V6. iget about 340-360 around town, and about 400+ on the highway. they look great, and are great on gas. The problem with the bike is you'll spend all that money on something that is seasonal, and thats even if the weather is good enough out to ride it. Raining? forget about it, and the way our weather paterns have been, it might be a wet summer coming up. The insurance isnt bad on bikes, so. If your looking for a cruiser, want to look good, and start to get aquainted with a F-body, get a V6, if you want to race your friends, get a V8, and if you want a bike, think about that you have to buy all the gear too now, AND thats if that little thing inside ya doesnt make you wanna pull that throttle a little more then needed. They are faster then a V8, which makes you more prone to a ticket at your age.

well heres the thing.... i just sold my v6 and saved up some money for a V8 but now i'm thinking about buying a bike and a beater.. so when its nice out=bike and when its ******=beater... but also i have to insure 2 vehicles... and im not that bad with the speeding.. or that much of a stickler with the gas priceses either

yeah crashes are pretty bad but you also have to be smart about it too and not ride like an idiot. But i've found some Z28's in the area that i plan on going to look at so i think im gonna stick with finding another f-body except a V8
