Wheel narrowing....
Just wonder if its possible to narrow a 17x9 aluminum rim(slp ss 10 spoke) down to fit skinnies(like 17x4.5).... and also if it's feasible.
I wanna keep a stock look.

if stock wheels can be widened I don't see why not...I would PM 86t/a and ask the shop he went to

www.weldcraftwheels.com for online, or a local place like USA Wheels in Fairfield or anyone else.
M/T even makes a skinnie radial for 17's now for the Supra/Vette crowd.

wheelworks on rt130 in burlington did my wheels, maybe give them a call and ask. I dont see why they couldnt

i thought about doing this to a pair of 10-hole wheels i have laying around...but i could probably buy decent looking welds or something for just a tad more $$.
now, if i did it to my stock pony wheels...hmmmmm
