Need a cheap place to do brakes In Southern/Central Jersey? Anyone?
Ok 100k miles ok my tracker and i need a mechanic that will do a brake job and not kill me...I live near Mcguire AFB and also stay in Monmouth Cty

I think you may be in range of BigAl, see what he can do for you.
FYI, a brake job is not very involved should you choose to do it yourself.

Maybe Im wrong but you cant do a simple brake job on a GM product?

no i cant...and its not simple if you were never taught how to do it. Thanks for the info 92 camarodude

brakes are easy...hand tools and PB blaster gets the job done

How did i know I was going to get these responses lol....No tools here (im lucky if i have a phillips head screwdriver), nowhere to do it, nobody in my family in mechanical as far as cars go and I was never taught how to do them. Ill probably end up going to Meineke, think they have a pretty good deal going o right now plus i got a 40 dollar coupon.
