Old lady backed into my car in front of my house. Insurance cut a nice check.

My first camaro (85 v6) was beat up when I got it, but 2 days after I ripped the front end apart to replace the fiberglass headlight bar I got backed into by a dumbass in a Jeep who said he didn't think anyone was behind him when he started backing out of his spot, so he didn't bother to look. The right front was not pretty at all after that. He took out the fender, nose, hood, and various brackets in the nose (including the just replaced headlight bar).

Popped the motor before I could get it to a shop for an insurance estimate and never got a dime out of it. I still harass the hell out of the kid who did it whenever I see him.

I was doing 75 down Jugtown mountain (78 Eastbound from PA) coming home from work after a rain in the left lane. Lo and behold a car was parked in the left lane because it was closed and they got too close to the cones. I swerved around the car, doing a NASCAR style door to door scrape, and as I did that two guys in a stolen car rear ended me and totaled out the car- a two year old Grand Prix with ~11,000 miles on it. The trooper said my tires are the only reason I'm alive- I had put Goodyear F1's on a month before and they just barely held the road during the swerve.

In my family's Saturn, I went around a bend a bit to fast in snow and lo and behold slammed into the curbed, but the wheels in and did a bit more damage to it. Stopped about 6 inches from a telephone pole.....

http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=24184

Story 2:
got into an accident with my first car (94 Caprice) the day after thanksgiving
i pulled into a Dunkin Donuts driving towards the sun, spot a parking space go to pull in and just hear CRUNCH.. turns out i had a jeep on my front bumper.
it wasn't a parked car and no one was found at fault.
about 2 weeks later the trans went and i just donated it somewhere

My first new car was an '89 Z24, and I hit a deer less than 2 weeks after I got it with less than 400 miles on it. $1500.00 damage (new hood, left fender and headlight assembly). To top it off, not even an hour after I picked it up from the body shop, I was driving to visit my grandmother and a bird hit my new, freshly painted hood and put a decent size chip in it. I wasn't too fond of deer or birds for a while after that...haha.

i was on Rt. 80n with the Camaro...guy tried to pass me on the right, he didn't get over enough, clipped me, sent me into a NASCAR-like spin, spun into the center median back first...$3gs+ in damage, guy ran away, and three staples in the back of my head...
