i have an A4 in my car that was rebuilt 10k ago by AAMCO. New converted, everything, shifts great. I have the receipt.

I've always wanted an M6 swap but I'm in college now and won't be back for more than a few days until December during winter break.

My car is a 95 TA so i'm not sure if the trans will fit your car

Let me know if you can wait.

For the T56, the above is true, as well as the input shafts are different lengths and the clutch style is different.
