What a waste...what is it with most audio guys?!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ponti...=p4506.c0.m245
Take a quick gander and see if you can figure out what pisses me off. I'll give you a hint...TWO CYLINDER'S ARE MISSING!!!!!!!
Why is it that the typical car audio guy makes his car look sooo badass just to have people find out it's a complete piece of **** with a stereo?! SO STUPID!!!!
I don't know why, but I seriously want to hurt people like this...they're too stupid to live. Bunch of tards

My thoughts exactly, what if he just liked the car and it didn't matter what the 1/4 mile times were?

6cyls can still be fast. 3.8l with a turbo would get quite nicely.. Where have I heard that before??? Oh yeah Grand Nationals but they werent fast were they? I guess an 11 sec car that gets 20mpg isnt good enough..

Are you annoyed because it is a v6 made to look like a v8?
Or, is it because anything less than a V8 is useless?
I'm not a fan of v6 people making it look like a v8..... I did notice he put a v8 speedo in it.... and if he got it to work then that is impressive.
If you feel that anything below a v8 is useless..... then you are a lame ass.

James did they change something in the clusters of the 97up cars, because i had a v8 cluster in my 95 3.4 camaro and it plugged right in and worked perfect

No, I'm annoyed that it was made to look like T/A, which it isn't. I love GN's, and owned a 12 sec 4cyl turbo awd car so no...I'm not a harcdcore V8 guy. Just seems like such a waste to spend so much money making a car look like a badass just to have people pull up and blow you away.
It seems to be the trend with car audio guys.

I have plenty of GN's and GN related equipment... Actually, My friend who we swapped a LC2(Turbo6) into his 87 Regal WITH the FACTORY T package, but not Turbo T package went 12.7 first time at the track with nittos... 3 times in a row... to the track and back, 3 runs.. and burned about 3 gallons of gas.
Oh BTW Matt, Those wheels would look like sex on your car.

Hmmm, everything I read said it wouldn't work...sure it would fit and hook up... but the speedo wouldn't be calibrated.... but I was only reading up on 3.8L stuff so the 3.4's could definately be different.
Looks like the guy has the cluster problem: "Rev Limiter is 1.5 Higher then what it should be (because of the V8 gauges) – This is something any car tuner should be able to take care of."

I like the look of the car, but the dressing it like a Trans Am is kinda ricerish. It looks good, but I understand the OP.
What's with the Hurst Equiped shifter badge when it has a Pro 5.0 in it?
Id like tos ee his projector headlights he talks about, see how different they are from Brian's.

Ok makes sense.
Everyone has their own priorities.... what makes sense to one person is ludicrus to another.

If it wasn't for the buyer having a very solid feedback, I would say this was a fake sale.
Car has so many TA and V8 looks to make me believe it's not a 6cylinder. I have no idea why someone would "devalue" their car and not say it had a V8 but I'm still confused by the sale.
The stuff mentioned could easily be described from someone who knows the typical mods on the car.
Yadunno...looks pretty decent though.
BigAl - Typically the LS1 bird guys do a very similar HID projector retro but use a non-bixenon unit. However, no one has created the plexiglass cover and that's what bothered me most about the setups....the projector lens is always exposed.

Exactly. It looks absolutely BADASS...if it were a real T/A. But to waste that money into making a 6 look like an 8?! Why no just buy one?? Probably cheaper. How's Sears treating you Al? Remember me? Raph's buddy.
It's not like it has a sick sound system, but the guy emphasized all his stereo equipment like it was the ****. The car's basically a stereo that looks good and THAT'S IT. If he'd done the same to a REAL WS6 it would have been an amazing car. The trend with 99% of guys into car audio is to whigger the car out and take a total POS and try to look like a badass. You always see ****** cavaliers and the like with $5k worth of stereo garbage in it that realistically you don't need and can never use. The logic just escapes me I guess...

I think that car looks great! Not my thing, but I know plenty of people who would jump on the V6 bandwagon these days to have a sharp daily.

Strange nobody complains about Z28's with SS hoods and spoilers especially the ones with Race stripes, hood inserts and side stripes..
Regular T/A's, Firebirds with WS.6 hoods.
The Camaros with those hideous VFN big block fake ram air hoods.
Gaylow head lights on Camaros ect,ect,ect..
I would use that car as a daily driver in a heart beat after deleting all of that Audi crap..
I have seen far worse stuff done to V8 F-bodys these days compared to that car atleast it isnt badged as a ws.6
