Need your input !!!

Well i was thinking of putting a new motor together for 09", for those who don't know me i have a white 84 firebird, that i run at Island Dragway on some fridays or sundays, at the time in 07 at 3275lbs went 9.23 @ 149, on a small 150ft wheelstand "on motor", sorry no power here, so i'd like to go mid to low 8's, on motor, now the car now weighs 2875lbs or so, so a small inch sbc high winding motor, or BIG inch torque monster, but to go mid to low 8's, i'll need 875 hp to go mid 8's, 900 plus hp to go low 8's, cuz it can be done and i want to do it or any suggestions on anything else for a combo, well let see how this turns out. Thanks JR Newman.

The cranks cost about the same for the big stroke as they do for the little one, so why waste time with a little one? heh

Is there a point at which the dollar to cubes stops paying off? That would be a good stopping point

Go as big as the budget allows
