JEGS ftl

i ordered a shift light and i am installing it and i dnt know what the hell is up with the installation process. i hook the ground up and the ignition wire. then i there is a just a green wire. i know one side hoop to the pcm or the coil but i dnt know what the other side hooks up to. turns out its supposed to be inside the shift light so now i have to wait ti get another one. meanwhile my dash is apart and i have the pcm out so its just one big pain in the a$$. And their tech department didnt know anything i kept telling them the green wire that came with it isnt connected to anything and it took 3 people to figure it out

Always make sure you have everything in order and ready to go. Jegs doesn't make the part so why would they know the wire had been pulled out? Jegs and Summit stock the same parts from the same vendors so you'll run into the same problems with both of them. I use both but have had better luck and faster shipping with Jegs.

the problem that i had with jegs was that they couldnt tell me about their product they were selling. i told them flat out that there was a black wire and a red wire coming from the light and the green wire wasnt connected to the light. and they couldnt tell me what was wrong till the third person came. i understand to check everything but i thought it was fine because the green wire is longer than the others so it was wrapped around the red and black one and it didnt look as if something was wrong.

I understand how you feel, but you cant expect one person to be an expert for the over 100,000 products they sell.

I too have ordered from both. Just depends on what it is....
