I seemed to notice locally they haven't been doing regular pick ups off the streets and there were some HUGE piles around my neighborhood.

I did my front yard, was supposed to do the backyard but I decided helping B64C with his trans was better. Maybe next weekend, lol.

We have a schedule from the town on what blocks they do w/i a certain week. It seems they have to tell you as there is some crazy state law about putting the leaves out in the street too early.

Same here, there are mountains everywhere. Some side roads are barely passable.

My dad told me that in Bergenfield some kid set like 6 leaf piles on fire and it took out 3 cars... maybe my area will start picking up now. My block/area they have only picked up once.

When I was growing up kids used to set fires every year. We'd run out & watch the firetrucks whiz by. Crazy how semi-normal it was.

I just wish people would leave their sidewalks clear. I don't care if they rake the rest of their yard or not, I just want the sidewalks clear so I can run safely.

Tonight during my run, some JO piled all his leaves on the sidewalk and shoulder instead of on teh edge of the street like we are supposed to, I had to stay on the sidewalk because of traffic, so I ran through the leaves, about halfway through the pile I stepped on a stick and wrenched the **** out of my ankle. It is now nicely swelling up.

Wow, I guess I did mine early. Was still painful though since my backpack blower is old and finicky.

I had my leaves all piled up 2 weeks ago! I don't even see our neighborhood on the list for Ewing but it's piled up across the street on the golf course next to the piles of branches. I went out and played 10 holes of golf today but the greens were still rock hard so it was a little tough trying to chip the ball close.

Yeah, but if the temp gets warm enough and the sun hits them they will thaw out and be fine. I had one shot bounce 5-6 feet in the air after it hit the green. I think that means it's time to put the clubs away.

Don't feel bad I have been picking up leaves like crazy around here and the wind keeps blowing it back onto my property.

Then the town truck picks up all my neighbors houses but leaves mine. Figuring they were coming back later in the day and they didn't.

So now I got this big pile that they probably forgot all about
