Sweet, twice the price for a front end alignment and 2 more tires to buy.

i was curious as to what the interior was like... you know, if i could ever get one and remove that second set of wheels for real... but after this.... needs a custom shop to make a full new interior... the horror...
and yes, you can see the front suspension through the gaping hole in the dash.... wtf were they thinking here
wait i got it... i played this video game at dave and busters last month....

Uh, its called still in mock up stage, still under development. We'd do that with our yatchs, get the jist of what something would look like, then fine tune it. Thats still under the developmental stage ,you know like when we saw the New camaro running around with different rims and headlights and stuff, all company's do that.

uh, actually that pic was taken at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show....
perhaps a place youd want a little more than a "mock-up" as u say.
http://www.madle.org/ecovini.htm
and if you had a yacht at a show trying to market it with features like this...

Remember the Cadillac Cien when it was debuted, had a plywood interior, not all cars are complete when they arrive. and plus this is 3 years later, im sure they fine tuned it by now....

I don't like it regardless of whether it has 4 or 6 wheels. The front and back look ok, but the side view kills it.

This is the Tyrrell 6 wheeler
FIA didn't let the fun last long and the car saw a lot of developmental problems, like having the front end be very fragile.
It is an interesting concept, but I don't see it as realistic for a street application. You would lose too much room in the foot box to be comfortable much less safe.

No the FIA allowed it, its jsut that they had a problem with tires, tehy werent developed properly, and were prone to blowing from the excessive forces put on them. I wish the FIA would allow teams to think such crazy things again. it wasent until the 80's actually that the FIA banned 6 wheel cars.

The FIA told Tyrrell not to bring it back any more, we are talking old days when they went about enforcing and making rules in a reasonable manner. The actual rules against 6 wheelers came around later when Benetton submitted an engineering inquiry about the concept. The FIA didn't want to go back down that road and shut it down before it got started.

I think it looks good with the single front wheels. With that 22 or whatever it is on back, it needs 19's on front at least. It looks like they used 16's or something like that in the double set up
