LB9 Trouble

Hey guys.. been a while again.. but back wit another LB9 issue.
88 GTA.... Blew the plastic side tank off radiator. Replaced radiator and now its on a hose bursting frenzy, first the lower then the upper.. leaking heater core...

Now... for the weird part... antifreeze has definate contamination smell, like exhaust and gas smell, pulled the plugs, no sign of antifreeze, compression test comes out to an average of 126 psi across the board.

Anyone else think its a blown head gasket?

Sounds like there is debris somewhere in the cooling system.

No milky looking antifreeze.... and just did a full system drain... Is it possible that this could have been caused by over rev?

sounds like it is a head gasket. ive seen this happen on a mustang, where it was actually a cracked cylinder wall making pressure in the water jacket.

I would do a pressure test on the cooling system and see if the pressure bleeds off. If it does then start looking around for leaks and see if you can hear anything in the dipstick. I would also drain the oil and see if you have any coolant in the oil pan.
