new headliner
so about 6 months ago...probably longer i got tired of my headliner sagging and just ripped it down one day.... i damaged the board a little bit when i pulled it out so i was just waiting until i had a spare $200 lying around to buy an ABS plastic one and replacing it... well i never really got aroudn to it, and my dad calls me the other day and told me he ordered teh fabric and glue... i was pretty skeptical about the whole thing, but i said what the hell and tried it... he paid like $18 + shipping from a place called "Devil Dog Fabrics"... for one i was really surprised with how ncie the fabric with the backing was, and two, i was surprised at how well it came out and how strong the glue was...i did the glue yesterday and put it back in today... i was surprised at how great it came out with the damage to the board and all... only thing i forgot before i put the fabric back on was the little velcro things that staple to the board and support the middle by velcroing to the top... i made due and drilled two small holes centered about 16 inches apart and used these push in rivet things that held it up and dont look too bad... ill try and take some pics tomorrow when its light out
