My first tandem dive!

Ok so I did my first of a series of tandem skydives to get my solo dive license!

siiiiiiiiiiiiick skydiving is awesome!!!!!!!

they made a nice vid too. i went with two other buddies and they got videos, kinda **** compared to yours. the guy wore a wrist mount and filmed that way. it would be cool if they did that and an extra guy like yours.

what height did you jump from? seemed like a quick fall.

good luck on the license though! thats nuts!

Its a blast. The videographer used a helmet side mount and a nikon DSLR top mount. We jumped at 11,400 feet it was a nice first jump took about 20 mins to get up that high. I have 2 more tandem jumps then I have my 7 instructed jumps then Im solo! Im trying to get my license so I can goto the himalayas next summer with my buddy and climb and base jump there.

189 for the jump and gear rental
135 for dvd and photos

20 for tip for tandem instructor
10 for tip for camera man

i jumped last year at Sussex Skydive... great place... also a tandem jump as it was my first time.. i went with a large group though so i got a pretty good deal cause i went with a large group... i think the jump was 170 and the dvd & pix were 75...

great video, though i must be honest i didnt dig the tunes they chose for your jump/land...

being the metalhead that i am i told the recording diver (who was also an editor putting the dvd together)... "dude, dont put any faggot ass top 40, or generic rock... hes like " dont worry man, i think ull dig it...trust me"

so i get the dvd head home...pop in my dvd player.. watch the intro, the interview and then right when im at the corner of the plane ready to go the soundtrack kicks in...

let the bodies hit the floor! let the bodies hit the floor! LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLLOOOORRR!!!! ****in awesome man, edited perfectly sync'ed up as the jump took place, so badass...

so they used Drowning Pool for the freefall...and for the parachute pop & landing... slowed it down with 'I Stay Away' by Alice in Chains... the instrumental intro and first few lines...nice and mellow, but still metal. i luv Chains.

good stuff though man, see ya in the skies sometime..

Free Fall adventures aka cross keys took over sussex. All one company now just a tid bit for ya
