is this the "muscle confusion" technique? if so, i looked into it before. it seems to be a big joke. if you read up on muscle confusion, it seems just like an advertising method more than a workout method

S#!t, for $30 I'd give it a shot! that damn program retails for over a hundred I think. Just remember, if you want to see the results they show in the advertisements, you'll need to really watch your diet.

i did it for about 4 months strait... and it works!!! big time.. but like they said i got lazy and havent done it in weeks.... im really skinny always have been... by the end of the 2nd month i was seeing a 6pack and my chest was a little larger... it deff works... you have to stick to the program though... i also didnt do the yoga and stuff that they tell you too... its tough too... not easy about an hour work out a day... and its pretty rigorous.... not you typical loose 10 lbs in 5 minute thing... it works if you'll devote the time to it...

I wish I had that problem Ive always been "husky" and Im trying to get rid of the extra chub before I go away to school. The one Im looking at buying is just the vidoes not diet plan or anything else with it just the vids

I'll give you a hint. Watching your diet and exercising an hour a day will make you more lean pretty much regardless of what type of system you do.

sorry that P90X has become synonymous with muscle confusion. muscle confusion has long been a weight trainer's plateau buster, sometimes with better results than the regular workout. we used to use completely insane things like 100 reps and revere pyramids to get through the plateau periods. a plateau is a point in time where you do not grow, either in pounds and strength for power lifters or in body size for bodybuilders. it can be the most frustrating time, since we're only in it to grow and the lack of growth doing things you've always done is the ninth circle of hell.

i do not think that this P90X is a true muscle confuser. it claims to always vary the routines so that your muscles never have a chance to build up a tolerance to training.
