directions to Engineering building at RU

I have to meet with a professor Monday afternoon in the Engineering building. I have never been to Rutgers and would like some direction from 287 S. Actually, directions from the exit/ entrance to campus would be better. I am told it is behind the Student Services building which I don't where that is either. Is there ample parking by the ENR building? Safe? would be a nice ride in the T/A if it is nice out.

Interstate Highway I-287

* Northbound/Southbound
1. Turn off at exit 9 'Bound Brook/Highland Park'
2. Proceed east on River Road toward Highland Park until the fifth traffic light (approximately 3.4 miles) at the intersection of River Road, Metlars Lane, and Route 18.
3. Turn left at the River Road Traffic Light onto Metlars Lane.
4. Turn left onto the second street which should be Brett Road.
5. Proceed across Bartholomew Road at the stop sign.
6. Bear right at Bowser Road and proceed to parking lot at the end, the engineering building is the white stone building on the left.

EDIT: someone familiar wtih the area recently might be able to answer this better, but iirc the intersection of Metlars Lane is now different?

^^ what she said.

Depending on where you are coming from, if taking Rt 1. Travel to Rt 18N and go down until you see the big signs for Busch Campus. That's where you want to be. Once you get off that exit, follow the road to the circle intersection. Take the first exit to your right and you will have the Sonny Werblin gym on your left with the track/fields on your right. Go to the first stop sign and make a left followed by your next available right. Look to your left and thats the engineering building.

Your TA will be fine but be watch for the parking Nazi's.

Thanks for the help. I figure it will take about 1 hour from Roxbury area? I need to be there at 4pm so, I am not expecting too much traffic. Interested in what he has to say about going for the master but switching disciplines (civil UG to Mech Grad). Doesn't RU have a joint program with Steven's Tech? I like some of Steve's courses that RU does not offer, particularly the automotive programs like power sources and suspensions.
