74 Cutlass
Wondering if any of you would happen to know how much a 74 cutlass with 60k miles garage kept in great condition may be worth. The lady that owns it is just giving it to me and Im wondering if I should hold on to it for whatever the value may be in the future or sell it and dump the money into one of the camaros.

There is no value in it, unless you can find someone that just loves 74 Cuttys.
Throw some 24's on it, take it to Macco for a 500 dollar ruby red paint job, body lift it, shine up the chrome, and take it down to the south?

I mean...it should be an A body, so you could do some cool stuff with it. Big block olds, make a 442 out of it or something, like the last year of the GTO.
Im a fan of trying to make cars that might not have existed, but could have.

Not really a hot rod, lol.
But if it mostly original & in good shape there is somebody out there that wants it.

Paint's great. Its been in the garage forever and she probably hasn't driven it in a decade. Haha. I still have to go look at it and get photos. Trying to remember what it looks like from when I saw it 2 years ago. And all I saw was the back.

Too bad it's not a 3rd gen cutlass. That would have actually been sweet.

Down south....don't even have to go that far (unless you meant South Jersey). Drive that thing through Mt. Holly and you'll have some takers if the price is right.

What model is it? If it's not the base model it could have some valuable parts. The Supreme and SX was fairly popular and could be ordered with the rally package (tach in dash, buckets/console etc ), bumper with the exhuast ports are rare and the sx/442 share the samw tail lights that are hard to find. The body color spor mirors are also rare items. The a 442 and H/O guys would pay allot for those parts alone. The pollution controls may be of in value also cause the first thing we did was rip it all off and toss it - and gut the cat! ( I had a 73 442 back in the mid 70s )

the car is worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. find a monte and cutlass board....put it up there.

QFT. the magazines are all about "dare to be different" so hang on to it. if it's worth something you'll find out if you hang a "for sale" sign on it in the driveway. it might not happen tomorrow or next week, but someone with the ideas and cake to make it happen will stop by eventually.
