Why not buy wheels that fit?
I had to grind mine... not 4 hours worth though.

I've been going back and forth with grinding little by little. The wheel fits on right now and will spin 3/4 of the way and catch part of the caliper as it sits right now. I don't have an angle grinder so I'm using a 3 inch cutting wheel going nice and slow....but now it's getting cold and I would like to get both wheels on by the end of tonight

vinnie, its probably only still rubbing on a couple spots, if you havent been already, take some cheapo spray paint, shoot a light coat on the caliper, bolt the wheel on and spin by hand... when you take the wheel off, the paint will be gone in the high spots, giving you an area to concentrate on...
good luck man

the very corners of the brackets rub along with the face and cooling fins of the caliper itself

I think swapping brakes with an LT1 owner would've been advantageous for you. Could have made some money in the deal too.

srill have to grind LT1 brakes, just not as much. You would have to pull the axles and change the backing plates, then reinstall the cover, fluid, lines ... etc.

I got the rears on and took it for a ride. All was good. I take it home, jack up the fronts to put the skinnies on...go to mount skinnies, and now there is grinding on the fronts. So now I need to figure out wtf I need to grind on the fronts.

turns out the skinnies I bought aren't exactly what I thought. Instead of being 15x4s like i thought, they are 15x6 and require grinding even with the spacer . Not sure who I should be more mad at...myself for not noticing that they weren't "15x4" like advertised or the seller for not mentioning that they would still require grinding with the spacer.
