It is a repost.
Still amazing either way. 1/10th the cost of the car with 1/100th the cost of ownership.
Just wish Corvette had a better interior with a better design.

All American Chevrolet of Midland, Texas just made the mother-of-all-trades when it accepted a Euro-bombing 2008 Bugatti Veyron... for an unabashedly American Corvette ZR1 and some cash.
so yea, they gave him the ZR1 and cash AFTER they lined up a new buyer for the Veyron. so its not like its sitting on a lot somewhere. Not all too crazy.

prob sold it to the new buyer for like 1.3M, gave the original owner the 100k vette and $1M, and made 200k minus taxes fees

Id take neither, both suck. veyron is for people who need to compensate, and the ZR1 is as boring as watching Stephen Hawkin play chess. Give me a Gumpert Apollo, or that awesome looking Porsche 918 they just debuted at Geneva

I cant stand the way the Veyron looks, i would take the the ZR1. I would rather build my own car though and have a little pride and hard work into it

The show was Man Made and made me appreciate the Bugatti for its engineering alone. Still ridiculous looking.

Looks like a really heavy, stretched VW Bug. Not my cup of tea. The ZR1 however Id love to have.
