I've got a question for South Jersey (and everyone else)
why is it when ever i drive down to rowan (i take 295 south to 42 to 55 to 322) or something like that and when i get to like 55 there are just mad random cars abandoned on the side of the high way.. some have flags in the ground next to them... ive only seen this in south jersey... care to explain?

Im from south jersey and ive never seen this...
I know cars used to get a sticker on the window for towing, but M\most likely its a piece of junk that broke down and the flag signals the vehicles tow status. I think NJ law prohibits a vehicle from sitting on the roadside for more than 2 or 3 days.

If you ride around glassboro/vineland/millville and see what the majority of people drive it's no wonder theyve broken down.
I commute 55 also and I don't see quite that many cars

I thought the reason you see less up north is because if a car sits for more than 3 hours in the north the car is stolen & stripped.

i think this young fella is exaggerating a lil bit. I see a couple here and there on the side of rt 55. Theres the NJDOT emergency guys that drive up and down 55, aiding people if theyre broke down. if the person isnt there, theyll usually put a lil flag thing on the back of their car

South jersey is weak. Up north we fend for ourselves.

No, they have the DOT teams up north. But their trucks get stolen when they stop. Or they get car jacked.

No... They are just scared to get out of the truck.

yeah i guess it seems like a lot and unusual because u never see a car on the side of the road abandoned up here... like.. never.. lol so to see 2 or 3 on one trip is like WTF?
thats so weird tho i would never leave any of my cars on the side of the road... and the bmw is nothing to brag about lol
