Thumbs up 1983 Daytona Pace Car/Mint with 400CID upgrade!

Just check out the specs on this 25,000 mile mint T/A. It is listed on eBay with this number 120541875831. This guy has a list a mile long on what he has done to upgrade this baby. Everything from a new 6-speed trans, a reworked 400 c.i.d. motor, cooling system and tons more. Very impressive and PROFESSIONAL sounding work went into this and the price is NOT out of the ball park. See for yourself!

I like those cars. But IMO his buy it now is about 30-50% too high.

It is a bit busy, maybe a little too much going on. You got like 1st gen or GTO RA4 graphics on the hood & air cleaner, formula wheels, crooked tailpipes and unfiltered air going straight down the throttle.

And yes, Ed, that hood decal would look bad on your car.

I've been following that car since it first appeared on ebay a few years back. Now this owner is selling it. It is a badass car. I even bid on it a few years ago.

It comes down to what you think your car is worth. Really nice 3rd Gens are quite hard to find and the market WILL come around at some point. I don't know how much this guy put into this Pace Car, but it has to be cheaper than if you bought the car by itself and did all the work claimed. Has to be one hellva sleeper.

The first time the car was posted the original seller posted tons of pictures and the amount of work put into the car was obvious. The 83 is really nicely customized.

I grow weary of gen bashing, especially 3rd gens. A 93-97 Camaro is no prize winner to me either, but I don't take shots at them at every opportunity.
