Speedo reading half

So when i bought my car the speedo was reading half and its about time i fix that. its a 95 formula with an LQ4 swapped in. how do i go about fixing this problem

i know it has to do with the sending unit on the trans. ls1's send about half the voltage to the speedometer compared to an lt1. not sure if you can swap that sending unit out or swap the gauge cluster? search around on ls1tech, i'm sure its been talked about.
