What'cha got dar Cletus??
Why, dat dar is my V8 Camry...I calls it my "ranch," curz it's where I keep my 680 horses!
(They are also offering a Tacoma)...

So they use the SoCal paint job, put a NASCAR front bumper on it, otherwise people would be lost as to what it is, and put gaudy oversized rims on it.......and yet i'd still take that over a regular Camry. They got the philosophy right, throw a V8 in anything, now they just got to get teh formula of looks and function down and they just might pull through.

oh so now they are putting v8s in trucks? eh neither of them impress me. toyota will never make a performance car that people will go to for performance. they earned their reputation on cheap econoboxs. i dont see why people would look to them for a performance vehicle. i also wonder how they think this will be a good business choice. if they are looking for performance they need money. no one is in the position to go out spending money on cars that only are geared for select few. its a loyal market people are going to stick with what they know that isnt toyota

Toyota used to have a small, but sporty image from them, the Celica, the Supra, the MR2 and their racing division was top notch, the JGTC Supra and MRS, the TS010, TS020 ( Toyota GT-One) Sard MC8 ( Le Mans MR-2) The Le Mans C-series Race car's, they were all bad ass, then they went into this were goign economy and were goign to enter F1 to show the world we have the money and technology to be the best.....
Toyota, if you can hear me, get together with Nissan and Mazda, Come back to Le Mans, your wacky TS010 won the hearts of everyone ,and we eagerly await your return to the sport
Sincerely, No More Boring Le Mans

Because with the exclusion of some area's of China , Asian countries are very cramped, and small, and since gas can become pricey, they are acustomed to small engine, small sized vehicles. Only the Highest of Luxury cars get V8's

Yeah, that whole RWD thing...
Possible highly moddified version of the Aurion (sp?) in Australia, a car they want to get into the Aussie's V8 Supercar race.
Tundra always had a V8 in it. Tundra was, untill 08, a 7/8ths of a full sized truck.

Now imagine a V8 with a stuck gas pedal Prius was scary enough in the news.
