2011 (yes, 2011) tax questions

I let my ex file my 2011 taxes last year. Problem is she didnt actually file. I realized this in november and figured id get ut all done at once with my 2012's. Problem is, my mortgage company needs my 2011 tax return asap to approve my mortgage. I figured u would file st the local irs office, but I cant find the 2011 1040 form anywhere since everyone is doing 2012 taxes. Anyone know or have the form and know the proper procedure for me to get this done immediately?

This may not be what you want to hear, but ask around locally and find a tax guy to help you. I've done my own taxes all my life, my my father in law told me to go see his guy which I reluctantly did. He has consistantly got me more back than his $99 fee then when I did them myself with like Turbo Tax.

I say this because these guys will know how to best help you, and probably have everything you need. Keep in mind this is no guy in a foam Liberty suit, mine is a real no kidding tax pro. I think this might be your best bet to help you avoid the penalties you are going to get hammered with.

This is great advice. From my experience a good accountant (and a good home inspector) will always bring you more $ than their fee.
