How Many Different Cars Have You Owned?

By owned, I mean actually registered and driven for some length of time, not just bought to part out (which I'm sure some of you guys have done ).

I've owned 12 cars since I got my license in 1990.

1. 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo - The Beast - drove it for 8 months and beat the death out of it. Sold it for -
2. 1987 Dodge Shadow Turbo - drove it for 8 months, beat the death out of it, and sold it for -
3. 1985 Monte Carlo SS - I actually owned this same car twice (sold, and bought it back). I had hopes of restoring it, but the body was too far gone. It's the organ donor to car 12.
4. 1991 Honda Accord coupe - good college commuter, eventually traded in for -
5. 1996 Olds Cutlass coupe - the first and only New car I ever bought, traded in two years later for -
6. 1996 Impala SS - dark green/gray, a sweet car, but a money pit, eventually traded in for -
7. 2000 Dodge Sebring Convertible - A totally fun car. Silver/black top and black leather interior. Some A-hole totalled it out 6 months after I bought it.
8. 2000 Nissan Maxima SE - bought to replace the totalled 'vertible, then I got married, so I sold it, banked the leftover cash, and bought -
9. 1986 Olds Cutlass Salon - dark blue/ blue bucket interior, fully loaded including rare Astroroof option. Used as a daily driver until I bought -
10. 1987 Monte Carlo SS - my current daily driver. Great car with 118K on the clock. Stock White/burg interior.

In between cars 5 & 6, I bought a cheap 1985 Monte SS which I commuted to work in for 4 months. I did some easy work on it and made a profit on the car when I sold it. The sale funded my wife's engagement ring. That's car 11.

Car 12 is my latest project, an '88 Monte SS. It has the drivetrain and suspension from my first '85 SS, along with some other upgrades.

How 'bout the rest of youse?

3. 91 Cougar. It's been in my family since it was new. My mom neglected it bigtime though, so I'm slowly but surely fixing it.

My boyfriend is a car whore. (in order of ownership) Edit: He's only 22. *shakes head*

i've only owned two:

1990 Toyota Celica - good times in this car, a lot of "firsts" in it. it was a 5-spd, so it was the 1st car i learned to drive stick in. i won my 1st race in it, against a riced-out Civic. i spent some "quality time" with my girlfriend in the backseat, another first there. by the time it got wrecked, it had 167,000 miles on it and the clutch was just starting to go. the thing was near bulletproof, even though i beat the ever-living piss out of it every day. i loved that car, but it was time to get something new. luckily, it was totaled by some stupid chick driver, so i had a reason to get a new car.

1998 Camaro - i searched for a few weeks for this car, after my Celica got wrecked. I saw an ad in Auto Trader for it. i fell in love with it the day i first saw the car. it was in perfect condition, not a scratch anywhere on the car. i got it after about two weeks of convincing my parents it was a good idea. i took a loan out for the car, and i've been happy ever since. I've got big plans for this car, i hope to have it in the 12's by the end of next year.

my mistake... #34. '86 Chevy Camaro berlinetta hardtop (i forgot that one, lol i just sold it anyway and the 85 bronco is #35)

nope...not 100, just turned 24 in july I was a mechanic for a few years so in my spare time i'd buy cars cheap fix them up and sell them to make a profit and then buy another car. Some of the cars, after i drove them i just stripped them for parts and make more money for more cars that way. The SS WAS going to be my last for a while...but that didnt happen

Rght now, the cars i still presently own are:
1990 Eclipse, custom convertible, (in the making) 4" chopped top, 4" coilovers, supra headlights, camry taillights, large aluminum wing, fiberglass bumpes and side skirts
1979 Corvette, '96 Impala SS LT1(stock w/6,609 miles) 89 700r4, '80 style nose, l88 hood, side pipes, zr1 replica rear bumper
1988 bronco, for parts now since i found better.
1996 eddie bauer bronco (had severe fire damage, using 88 to rebuild)
1985 bronco, rebuilt motor, headers, 12" lift 40" tires, probably '96 body going on this frame.
2001 camaro SS (6.0L block and ls1 parts engine in my garage waiting to be built)
1987 Monte SS , 350 tpi, t5 hydraulic, 17" ROH snypers, 4" cowl hood, autometer gauges, full length headers, true dual 3" exhaust.(just about done, then getting "sold" to my gf at whatever i feel like charging her)
2003 ninja zx636r 2bros pipe, (getting over winter: power commander, chain and sprockets, 2 bros header, K&n, chrome windscreen, flushmounts, and 25hp shot of NOS)

1985 Dodge Omni (2.2 non-turbo) - POS, gave to one of the Indians that pumped gas for my dad, he set it on fire

1985 Camaro v6/auto - ran for about 8 months with a dead rod bearing, (still ran ok, and scared the bejesus out of everyone with the godawful noises the rod made) sold to stoner kid summer after high school

1991 Lumina 3.1/auto - bought cheap from mom to use as daily driver, still a daily driver

1987 Camaro - (one in the sig) been sitting in the driveway for over a year, will be registered/insured one of these days.

Hey you leave my ****box outta this....it was pimptastic. Could always chirp them off the line, and the little 3spd auto would wring 1st all the way to 65mph.

The best day was when I rolled through a puddle after high school and embarrassed Chris Whitlock (4 banger fox body) with the smoke show I did
