The Part that makes these guys mad at him is that he's the president of a mustang club and he rather run a real car and brag about it.i'm sure there are alot of TEXAS STOCK f-bodies that would love to be called out like that

what heads and cam cost $6000? $2500/month on the car? $90,000 on the car? 90000/2500 = 3 years - or roughly enough money to buy a CTS-V with Katech upgrades. what a moron.
p.s. it may be a pontiac, but if it's got an LS1 under the hood, that is a chevy motor.

Maybe Dominion made a set of heads for his LS1 and his cam is made out of Wolverine's adamantium skeleton or maybe he's on CRACK

i think both of these guys are tards. honestly, 600+hp racing on dirty uneve streets on regular tires? what kind of waterhead does it take to think that is a good idea?
besides, it teaches smackers not to open their mouths. real street racers never tip anyone to what they actually have. there may be a few shreads of truth amongst the line they are feeding you, but you will never hear the whole story.
question "what ya got in that thing"
answer "small block" or "wanna find out?" or "more than you can handle"

There's more to the guy's story...
he did own a house and was relocating with his job at the time, hence the apartment.
when the LS1 market first came out (and when the 20/20 episode aired), LS1 H/C actually did cost 6,000. Hell, some of Cartek's packages run that much these days too.
but yea, he's still a tool..

isn't it fun to watch the popular press take a guy who is mildly retarded and build him into something they think is super in their own special(not good special, like short bus and a helmet special) kind of way.
then the real world catches up to it and we all start to understand how even legit track racers get a bad image.

Just tell them you're the "OWNER" of the local mustang club because with your times you're damn near owning enough of em.
All these "500+hp" cobra's running high 12's excuse me while I laugh that they need a blower to keep up to a n/a corvette. I'll give Ford credit though, it's definatly 2nd best in the world of domestic sports cars and I'd sell my soul for a Ford GT.
What's great is how even I hung with a cobra on the highway! It was a 03 with the blower (damn was it loud) and I just wanted to hear it so I enticed the guy to floor it. He downshifted twice and on the 2nd beep (noobE) he had jumped 2 car lengths on me but to my suprise he didn't gain an inch! We only went up to about 100mph (from about 45mph) so I probably didn't give him a chance to walk but still you'd think he'd have more on me.
You guys should see the special news report they did on our FSAE team. Let's just say that they felt speedracer's theme song would fit well . If not for the burnouts the special probably would have COST us sponsors.

Yea in chris johnsons defense...One of the guys from texas did post that he did go outside to race that cobra and the cobra and his buddy left before chris got outside to avoid possibly trouble (ls1.com)....Guy use to race everynight I highly doubt he was afraid to race this guy....Chris got the heads and cam package like someone here already said when they first started comming out....including installation and a good package then it easily could have cost him 6 grand. As far as his 1/4 time who knows. I saw the original 20 20 and thought the guy was a complete tool, but he did post after saying the abc interview made him look like a erasponsible child.
